Mountain mint plants are not the same as true mints; they belong to a different family. Their highly aromatic leaves and flowers are traditionally used in teas, potpourri, and as natural insect repellents. It is used in herbalism to treat digestive tract disorders like mouth sores, bleeding gums, indigestion, colic, as well as menstrual disorders and flatulence. Best in herbal teas and used as Potpourri and other fragrant decorative items. Store mountain mint seeds in a cool, dry place.
